"Driving on the left side of life"

Did you ever feel that you were driving on the Left Side of Life?

When somebody says, "Pollyanna" you say, "I loved that movie." When people cut their hair, you keep it long. You like the cooing of pigeons, and find toads are attractive. You think that the crow is not aggressive; he is social. That pealing paint is just more colors to look at. That the more worn something is, the more you like to touch it. When someone says "fat," you hear "phat." You love teenage boys, and you love them in groups. You feel that crowded streets are interesting, and long airplane trips relaxing. You love to see people with lots of hand luggage on planes—it's a glimpse into their lives. That talking to strangers can just be the best. That sweating is just a kind of physical awareness and baby mice and their mother want to make you write a story.

Do you ever feel like you are driving on the left side of life? Ain't it the best?

P.S. If you want to read about my little mice turning into a story, see my upcoming children's (that means us left-siders) book, The Millieberton’s Christmas, coming in December.
